An upgraded version of OpenAI’s well-known artificial intelligence application was released last week. Based on OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, the current free version of ChatGPT was created. The most recent iteration of ChatGPT, however, is based on GPT-4, which is significantly more effective at both developing and working with users on creative projects.
For its most recent AI model, OpenAI has also made an API available, but users must sign up for the waitlist in order to utilize it. Regular users, however, can access the new model by subscribing to ChatGPT+ or using Bing. It should be noted that although Bing Chat is free, there is a 15-chat session limit and a daily session limit of 150.
What’s new in GPT 4?
The GPT 4 model is more advanced, according to OpenAI, in three crucial areas: creativity, visual input, and longer context. When it comes to working together with users on creative endeavors like music, scripts, and technical writing, ChatGPT 4 is significantly better. Even the writing style of the user can be learned.
Up to 25,000 words can be processed by the new ChatGPT 4. As a result, it can engage with a webpage and contribute to the creation of lengthy articles and extensive conversations. The new model can interact with visuals as well. The new model, however, is still plagued by issues like “social biases, hallucinations, and adversarial prompts.”
How can I access GPT-4 with ChatGPT+?
1. Log in to the ChatGPT website at https://chat.openai.com.
Note: The website will send you straight to ChatGPT4 if you have access to ChatGPT+ already.
2. Select “Upgrade to Plus” from the menu on the left.
3. By selecting the “Upgrade Plan” button, you can pay $20 per month to join ChatGPT+.
4. After making a purchase, you’ll get complete access to the most recent chatbot version.
5. You will have the choice to utilize one of the earlier models or GPT-4 when you open a new chat.
Remember that ChatGPT-4 is slower than other models and has much more complicated interactions—OpenAI calls it the most human-like model ever.
How to get free access to ChatGPT 4 using Microsoft Bing?
Currently, ChatGPT’s free version cannot access GPT-4. However, Microsoft claims that GPT-4 is what powers the Bing chatbot. Surprisingly, the new ChatGPT 4 has been available to Bing users from the start. Join the Bing waiting list if you wish to utilize ChatGPT 4’s most recent version for free.
