Unlike Apple and Samsung, which produce smartwatches in several sizes, Google only produces a single-size version of its Pixel Watch devices. The 41mm diameter Pixel Watch 1 and Pixel Watch 2 are the same size. However, there will apparently be a 45mm size option of the Pixel Watch 3. The announcement follows a January story that said there will be two sizes for the upcoming Google Pixel Watch.

In addition to the anticipated conventional 41mm model, the Google Pixel Watch 3 will now come in a bigger size, according to a report from 9to5Google. The article, which cited sources, stated that the next version will have a 45mm diameter and a substantially bigger watch shell. The larger watch could have a larger battery, even though both versions will probably have the same functionality.

Users of the Pixel Watch have long asked for a bigger model because the 41mm model fits narrow wrists somewhat snugly. Apple and Samsung, Google’s rivals, currently provide their smartwatches in a variety of sizes. While the Galaxy Watch 6 is offered in 40mm and 44mm sizes, the Apple Watch Series 9 is available in 41mm and 45mm size versions.

According to the 9To5Google article, Google was also developing the Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds. The Pixel Buds Pro’s successor, which debuted in the Indian market in 2022, is said to have been in development for some time but does not yet have an official name or a release date.

There are currently no more details available regarding the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and the Pixel Watch 3. A patent application from November of last year hinted that the next Pixel Watch would have a buttonless design with gesture-detecting sensors.

In October 2023, the Google Pixel Watch 2 made its debut in India. The watch has a 3D curved always-on display and is powered by a Qualcomm 5100 SoC. The Pixel Watch 2 runs Wear OS 4.0 out of the box and has 32GB of built-in storage in addition to 2GB of RAM.
